In August 2013 we will be leading a pilgrimage from York Minster to Bridlington Priory celebrating the nine hundredth anniversary of its foundation. Anyone can join for either the whole 69 miles or just for a day walk.
As if this was not far enough, we have decided to do a ‘Prequel’ to this journey. This begins on July 28th at Carlisle Cathedral. We hope to walk along Hadrians Wall to Hexham Abbey. From there, walk south-east to Durham cathedral. Then down the Vale of York to York Minster. We aim to pray in all the churches we pass and join with the local congregations in worship on the Sundays.
